Saturday November 26th we will be hosting our annual celebration of dark and mysterious beers called Dark Daze at all 3 taprooms!! Head on over to www.darkdaze.beer for more info and to stay up to date on all things Dark Daze. Info on all of the beers to be released coming soon!!


ALL BEERS AVAILABLE IN-PERSON ONLY
Dark Daze is our yearly celebration of our darkest & most mysterious beers that occurs every November.

Planning for each year usually starts 18 months or so beforehand and a lot of love and energy goes into these beers. We release rare and limited quantities of special barrel-aged stouts, barleywines, Black IPA, amongst other things. We also release limited merchandise and sometimes even pull out some super-rare cellar aged treats.

● All sales will be in person only on Friday November 26 starting
at 12:00pm at our Scott’s Addition, Norfolk, and Forest Hill locations.
All locations will be open from 12-10pm. The Funkhaüst Cafe will be closed for this day.
● Each location will have draft and bottles. Inventory availability will vary.
● Social distancing and masks are strongly encouraged.
● Bottle limits and availability are subject to change.
● Please prepare your order ahead of time if possible to help speed up the
ordering process. We will have a downloadable order sheet on our website.
● Please check your order before leaving the register. All sales are final
and we will not be responsible for any missing or incorrect items.
● No outside alcohol allowed on the premises.
● We encourage all participants to view and be aware of our code of conduct.

 

Veil seemed to confirm in a few IG responses that there will be NO ONLINE PRE-SALES ahead of Dark Daze. The only online availability will be whatever is leftover after Dark Daze weekend. My guess would be added online in addition to whatever releases on Nov. 30th.


"to be honest, the spirit and design of Dark Daze was never to be an online release. It’s supposed to be an in person celebration/party. In addition to any potential hiccups we’ve had via e-commerce sales, releasing all of these beers with time slot pick-ups is super tough on us from a logistical standpoint and requires longer term storage(that we don’t have) as well as additional staffing requirements. We’re hoping folks will be able to come by and enjoy themselves with us on Friday 11/26 and through the weekend. Any bottles leftover will make their way online at some point. No need to worry about Veil not hyping up this year's event. Posted on BTV and apparently somewhere on 95 near where you get off for the brewery.
