Not much information provided other than the dates so far but hopefully this is more than a week long draft event.

"We are thrilled to announce the opening of our brand new flagship taproom in the Scott’s Addition neighborhood of Richmond, VA. This new space, located at 1509 Belleville St., is just a few blocks away from our original taproom and production facility. Our new flagship location will feature an 8,262 sq ft taproom (3x the size of our current space in Scott’s Addition!), beer/wine/cider/spirits, an expansive patio, event space, gender-neutral restrooms, and a brand new in-house food concept, Nokoribi.

Nokoribi is the brainchild of Andrew Manning and Patrick Phelan, Chef/Owners from Scott's Addition's lauded tasting menu restaurant Longoven. Nokoribi (Japanese for embers) will feature a Yakitori, Japanese pub inspired menu highlighting meats, chicken, and vegetables cooked live over charcoal, along with katsu sandwiches, kimchi fries, seasonal pickles, and more. Hyperfocus, high quality, affordable pricing, and approachability for the whole family are paramount to the Nokoribi team and us, and we look forward to sharing their vision with you all.

We currently are striving for a Spring 2023 opening. Due to much-needed additional production space, once this location is open, our Roseneath Rd. location will be closed to the public and this will be our only taproom & restaurant in Scott’s Addition. Stay tuned for more info regarding the grand opening celebration, as well as a final hurrah at our original taproom. Feel free to post any questions about this exciting new location in the comments below. Please share this post as much as you can and give Nokoribi a follow too. Love and Cheers from all of us here at The Veil!"

"We're starting 2023 off right by releasing a new iteration of Double Barrel Circle of Wolves on Tuesday, January 17th!

Double Barrel Circle of Wolves (15%) is our beloved English Barleywine Ale aged in maple apple brandy barrels for 14 months then Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels for 29 months. We carefully selected and blended these barrels and the result is a version of COW that we are very proud of. It’s rich and enticing with notes of doctor pepper cola, rich fine tobacco, honey graham cracker dipped in chocolate, and maple spice cake.

To celebrate this special release we’re introducing Week of Wolves, an entire week devoted to one of our favorite beer styles. We’re dipping into our cellar and pulling select barleywines we’ve released over the years. Released and sold out long ago, this will be a great opportunity to try on draft and take home some rare beers!

There will be only 400x bottles of Double Barrel Circle of Wolves available! As well as limited draft and bottles available across all locations. Check our instagram feed to find the fine details and see what's available!"

I just checked and it is back up, but it was definitely down right around 9:00am.

I also just checked my receipt and I only paid $30 for the bottle, so that is probably why they brought it down.

For those not on IG, Veil announced the Last Hurrah @ Roseneath for this weekend (April 15-16). Supposedly the last weekend the OG taproom will be open to the public as rumors have been they will open the new location just down the street during their 7th Anniversary on the 22nd.

They still have not announced official details of how the releases will work yet but my assumption is the 7th Anniversary cans / bottles released will be picked up from Roseneath and those wanting pours will need to go to the new spot (1509 Belleville St.) which is a couple blocks away (5-6 min walk). Also read it might be a block party as well. Here's the link to anniversary details so far.... https://www.theveilbrewing.com/events/7th-anniversary

Glad they brought those two back, pretty low bottle counts though. These are bottles I’m likely to buy.

All three of these are bottles I will definitely be picking up. Regular BA SF and AB SF are always solid year in and year out, so I have no doubt they will be good again this year. Was a big fan of the original release of Empty so I'm happy to see it return. Really interested to see how it turned out this year considering the absence of the AB barrel and it being a straight up Bourbon barrel aged this go round. Should be a bit less sweet which is a welcome change for me.

On a side note, I'm really happy to see the return to a more wallet friendly price point as well.

Yeah agree with all that, I also liked Empty before, hopefully nfk gets enough bottles to go around. Never know when some real cool guy buys them all up to mule. Probably the cookie/maple/sugar/diabeetus nonsense beers will be the ones with the 500 counts.

Yeah I can already see NFK getting shafted on bottle counts, we always do. I will not be surprised one bit if the higher bottle count releases are all diabeetus sugar water beers. I am still holding out hope they will one day learn from seeing those candy bar beers sit unsold all year long and return to what made them great and stop trying to be Other Half.

Guaranteed to see a couple people up there to mule but thankfully those guys are typically grabbing the adjuncted crap.

That PB&J SF will still be available when 8th Anniversary rolls around next year  So much for them learning their lesson. Veil gonna Veil

Also think that Bananas Foster would be worlds better if they left that damn caramel sauce out.
