Our 7th Anniversary is just around the corner…Saturday, April 22nd to be exact! SO it’s the perfect day to open our brand new flagship taproom in the SA neighborhood! Come see our new spot at 1509 Belleville St., is just a few blocks away from our original taproom/ production facility. Our new flagship location will feature an 8,262 sq ft taproom, beer/wine/cider/spirits, an expansive patio, event space, gender-neutral restrooms, and a brand new in-house food concept, Nokoribi

SCOTT’S ADDITION (1509B Belleville St)- We’re planning a stack of live bands brought to you by Lava Presents. Believe us, this legendary show in the heart of Scott’s Addition will be one for the books. We’ve blocked off W. Moore St. for the day so you’ll want to walk up and our new building entrances are on Moore St. as well!

We’ll have our best buds from High Roll Lobster Co. + Richmod heavyweights Smashed RVA here to serve up the most tantalizing food on this side of the river. To cool you off, sweet treat all stars Gelati Celesti - will be dishing out their most indulgent of ice creams!
HBO’s The Big Brunch Winner Daniel Harthausen will be ripping his dumpling pop up to put the on top of the food explosion.

 

Seems like a few less individual bottles than the last couple anniversaries. Especially when you consider four of them have sub 100 bottle counts. I guess the recent leftovers sticking around had them scale down a bit.
Interesting no Pallbearer this go-round.
Also I didn't see if some of the 1pp ones will be on draft.

 

Someone asked the question on their IG post yesterday (the one with the video "trailer") and they confirmed all anniversary releases will also be on draft at each location.

Someone also asked (different post) about how many bottles / cans would be at each location and they said 50-70% is allocated to SA while the remaining 30-50% is split between NFK and FH.

 

Reads like the Block Party and live music in SA is cancelled with the threat of thunderstorms coming through early afternoon.

 

Veil posted can releases for ALL LOCATIONS will be Wednesdays going forwards. New SA spot opens at 11am on Wednesdays. Great news for non-locals to make an early day trip to RVA.

Thursday 11AM-10PM**
Friday 11AM-11PM**
Saturday 11AM-11PM
Sunday 11AM-8PM**

**Limited food menu 3-5pm on these days.

 

I’ve actually never had anything from the veil as I don’t get up into the city very often. I’ve heard of it being distributed in nearby states, is it sold anywhere in the counties surrounding Richmond or do they do their sales in this area exclusively from the brewery?

There will be limited drops from time to time in VA but it's not very often. Their distributor, Reverie, makes it pretty exclusive to specialty bottle shops and limited though it seems a little more kegs are making it out so that might be your best bet if you happen to have a craft beer centric shop or restaurant around you.

The can / bottle availability are just about exclusively to their taprooms. Scott's Addition and Forest Hill both in Richmond and then their Norfolk taproom. Their weekly new releases now are available Wednesday at each location when doors open at each spot but they also do ship throughout Virginia as well if that might be a better option for you. You can order online for shipping for pickup any day of the week but the new releases for the week become available on their website at 8am on Wednesdays. If you happen to schedule a pickup in person I believe they still will hold your order for 5 or 6 days (you would need to check me on that since it's been a while since I inquired) so you could essentially order online Wednesday morning when new release show up on their site and have until Sunday/Monday to pickup your order.
