Anyone know the total bottle count for The Bruery's The Wanderer? I know after the initial release, there have now been 2 very small provisions shop releases, so guessing over 1000..more..less?

That is correct, more or less.

It was initially what, 600? Before the Christmas Provisions sale and the one this week.

Sure glad I bought that RS membership so I can buy a couple bottles of this…. Opps sorry, was thinking about the OTHER Reserve Society that has access to every Bruery beer and doesn’t have to pay a membership fee (ie: just live near Old Town Orange).

Really? That's weak sauce! The Bruery doesn't owe us anything except what is spelled out in the RS membership. I'm sick of all the RS members whining about everything. If they aren't whining about this than they're whining about not having the second item yet, or the charge for the parties or the lack of non BA Fruet.

I have an RS membership to Crooked Stave, and I don't have access to anything other then the special releases they tell us about.

Original count was 720 bottles, then there were the small releases but not sure of the exact number. I know I got mine when it was just the original release and gave up a kings ransom for it...now they are half the asking price (even on ebay) then before...but it was an awesome beer.

Get over yourself. You can move to Orange, CA if it's really that big of a deal to you. Free country and all that jazz.

The Wanderer was a special beer made for City Beer Store. They weren't not obligated to sell it to anyone but City Beer. The fact that they released bottles for locals is very nice of them.

ya, if only you lived near some other store that released bottles of the wanderer.

wow - didn't expect anybody to get their panties in a knot over my comment. it was meant as a sarcastic comment about the relative lack of value that the RS membership is providing these days in comparison to if you live around the corner from the provisions store.

Yeah man, totally sucks that we'll probably only be able to buy a case of Black Tuesday this year.

Lack of value? Are youthe kidding me? Once again ... weak sauce. Is that all you can add to BA?

Lack of value? I love BA Smoking Wood, and CR was fantastic and those two were only available to us. Oh and getting 5 Fruet at a discount? Yes please. Hmmmm, and its May, right? Still more than 6mos with 2 BT given to us and the option to probably buy a case, again at a discount. So yea, you miss out on this May thing, which rewards the locals and not the RS, but really, lack of value? come on.

this beer is like bottle works xii, it was brewed with the crew at city beer store sf for their fifth anniversary last may (a year ago). so even if it did come with rs it would have been for last years so you still would have missed it.

as for bottle counts i know 40 cases made it to city beer store with only 30 cases released. you can still purchase this guy for onsite consumption at city beer in sf.
id imagine around 60 cases? so maybe around 700 bottles?

So the total bottles out in the wild so far:
    480 at City Beer
120 during the 12 Days of Xmas
120 at the tasting room on Dec. 24
180 a couple of days ago
    = 900 bottles
