That's a fantastic lineup! People around here rave about Inner Voice but I have yet to get there. I believe the HC would be Halfway Crooks in ATL.
It was not too well publicized, i just happened to stumble into it. A friend and i get together once a year anymore to volunteer at a regional festival and decided to do this one. It is a lot of fun being on the pouring side and talking beer all day and of course the people watching is entertaining and not getting hammered on the imbibing side Cheers!
They're a little different over there, that's for sure! I think their best beer may be the Echo Doppelbock, but I doubt they'll have it here.
Halfway Crooks taplist right now. Probably see something from here. I wish these guys were closer to me.
Awesome! GBX is a very good place to hit if you are in the region. The bottle shop is top notch, and the beer bar has some special brews on tap, 20 or so taps if i remember correctly. Wish i could get here more often as there are beers available that are not distributed to NC.
It was a long fun day on Saturday. I poured a lot of triple decocted pilsners and Brett Saisons from Alternate Ending in New Jersey as well as Deciduous NEIPA's and their 10th Anni BA Imperial Stout. Beer pouring is definitely fun as your customer is always happy! Cheers! Tom PS: the Jack Daniels chandelier over the main bar area was really cool. Purportedly 364 bottles! And the 2nd pic is my friend Don who attended as a VIP up close and personal with a very large Snoop bobblehead.
LOl! That's a great pic of your buddy and Snoop. You don't see something like that every day. And, nope, don't think I've ever seen a chandelier like that. We're remodeling our master bathroom and need a new chandelier in there (it has a high vaulted ceiling). Considered suggesting one like that to Mrs. ATL6245...then thought better of it. No sense in poking the bear, right? Looks like a great time was had by all. Cheers!
