    Not to get too off topic, but is that not precisely what the US is going through right now? Half the people are saying the last election doesn't count because they don't like the outcome? Keep the ad hominem attacks coming. Or maybe just argue your point.

    Your state stats are somewhat misleading - because of the wide ranges of state populations.

    According to the 2019 US Census Projections, California makes up 12.0% of the total US population... so if California makes up 8% of last year's posts, they are under-represented.

    On the other hand, Massachusetts makes up 2.1% of US population, but 6% of the posts on this site. Mass posters post 3x more than average (if you are strictly looking at posts per capita).

    The stats you're referring to have nothing to do with the U.S. population or number of posts. It's simply a breakdown of our logged in user activity.

    Though my comment was somewhat tongue in cheek, I was simply making the point that because there are 6x as many Californians as Massachusettsans, you would expect there to be 6x as many posts from California, all other things equal.

    I didn't mean to ruffle any feathers with what I thought was a pretty innocuous comment.
