    Another for Founders RIS.

    Regular stouts - Ballast Point The Commodore comes to mind.

    Darkstar November, had a bottle a couple weeks ago and was blown away by the mouthfeel. Promptly traded for 2 more bottles. I've had FO and this is damn close, just no vanilla. Ten fiddy is seriously thick also, and founders RIS is one of my all time favorites. I have founders imperial stout bottles from 2011-2016 it's awesome fresh and awesome aged.

    Not sure why I haven't seen anyone say anything about SR71. That beer was insane. Huna (and marshal Zhukov), ten fidy, Darkstar november (2015) are thick as hell.

    Yeah I believe it but that is even higher than I thought! ridiculous. It has to be a monster of a starting gravity too then to reach the 13% ABV or higher.

    Espresso yeti is one of my favorites and it is quite thick, but I bet its no where near what DL finishes at. I'm guessing in the 1.020-1.030 range.

    Hands down winner is 3 Floyds Black Flame. I've had plenty of RIS's in my life, but I almost gagged on this. Fantastic beer, but the consistency was like drinking syrup. It did not flow like a normal liquid.

    I had a glass of Omnipollo Selassie recently - it was on the thicker side, but overall I put in the beer in the "good not great" category.

    As for thick and better tasting - Abraxas, Marshal Zhuckov's, Mephistopheles, Founders Imp Stout, Southern Tier Chokolat, Old Viscosity.

    It's gotta be Founders Imperial Stout for me. Straight motor oil.

    BCBS deserves mention within the subcategory of barrel-aging. I don't think it comes very close to the big time non-barrel beers like FIS, Ten Fidy, Bomb!, but it's pretty amazing how thick it is, given the time spent in barrels.

    Had a pour of Imperial cigarettes and coffee at the Copenhagen festival in Boston; the beer was so thick it could be barely pumped from the keg.
