Some of these answers are crazy bc the beers mentioned are like water. But that's the beauty of this hobby.
I can jump on board with this and like seeing the facts. Because some of theses beers mentioned by some advocates feel like water to me.

Pretty much every stout made is thinner by some margin than BCBS.

I would challenge that - several listed here are thicker. Fidy and BA Fidy immediately come to mind, they pour like motor oil.

There aren't even several stouts in the world thicker than BCBS, never mind mentioned here. Some of the stouts mentioned here have a thicker mouthfeel than most beer but are pretty far behind some of the most viscous stouts on the market. I don't know what people are tasting but some of these assessments are way off the mark. FIS? KBS? Abyss? Come on.

I know for a fact that Ten Fidy isn't even in the conversation. BA Ten Fidy is closer, but not quite on the level of a BCBS as far as the heaviness of the mouthfeel.

OK, for a fact, whatever. Alcohol does not make beer thick. Grain alcohol is very thin.

    What?!

Where did I say ethanol makes things thick?!

I'm a bourbon drinker and I can also tell you for a fact that Stagg has a thinner mouthfeel than BCBS. I've had plenty of beers with a higher abv than BCBS, and plenty lower. But most still don't have the heavy mouthfeel of a BCBS regardless.

Look, dude. I'm sorry if I offended you. I just can't believe some of the entries that people are putting in for the thickest stout on the market.

Haven't offended me, but having had BCBS,BS, Fidy, BA Fidy - all BCBS has going for it is ABV, and not thickness.

BA Silhouette. As it warms it approaches the consistency of maple syrup without being sweet.

Gotta go with Ten-Fidy, Founders Imperial, Evil Twin Even More Jesus. I personally don't think Budweisers Bourbon County Stout is even in the picture.

Agreed here. FIS is probably the most well done and thick stout sitting on shelves all year. A lot of stouts get syrupy and under carbed. FIS is the winner for me.

I'm surprised at people saying Black Tuesday. That was actually shockingly thin to me.

The answer though, to me, is easy. Dark Lord. Looks like black paint and drinks like black paint.

Not at a stout, but the thickest beer that I've had by far is Samuel Adams Triple Bock
