Well that's just a smart consumer in my opinion

 

I'm convinced there's a black hole between Firestone and MA. Somehow their releases take months to show up here. You could WALK the shipments from FW to MA faster than that.

There is a black hole between the West Coast and East Coast for most limited beers. Velvet Merkin seems to be stuck in Illinois currently. I was wondering how good Goose Island would be with their Black Friday release.

I'm not saying it but there seems to be a lot of haters.

 

I was just in Denver and the person who was talking lowly of Goose Island didn't even know what BCBS was (newb). Obviously, my comment was not directed towards every person outside of Chicago, but I feel that a lot of people who have never been to Chicago don't know/realize how the local brewpups are still the same ownership and brew tons of random 1off's or speciality brews only avialable on draft at the pub. That's all I was getting at. I know there are gazillions of beerheads outside of Chicago that know and love GI.

This beer would taste better with some age on it.
