Distribution! lol. I want it possible to get any beer i want off a shelf right here in massachusetts. ( i know there are a lot of factors that go into distribution)

Like i wish i could go up the street and find a can of heady topper on the shelf and walk right by it. knowing that i will see it again next week lol.

Then again im just a big man with a little dream. or wait. it might be the other way around. idk.

For the most part the breweries know better than you do in this respect. They tend to study their products in ways that you cannot. You have a hard and fast line beyond which you will not drink a beer because you are absolutely convinced that X style beers completely drop off/oxidize/turn to dirt beyond that point. Breweries are privy to little tidbits of information like dissolved oxygen in various bottling situations which make a huge difference in shelf life. Honestly, many breweries are investing hundreds of thousands of dollars in research and equipment that allow them to provide a longer-lived product once packaged. And then to have a closed-minded know-it-all consumer like you not only refuse to buy that product but to talk down about it to others because you're absolutely sure that a 3-month-old X could not possibly be worth drinking anymore.
    Doesn't seem right to me.

That said, every beer should have a bottling date on it. Many do not however because of consumers like you.

I would like to see a general list of ingredients on labels. My reason is due to food allergies (namely peanuts, soy, chick peas). With all the weird beers coming out, I worry about consuming beer from breweries that use certain ingredients. Cross contamination with food and drink in a manufacturing facility is a very real thing, and I would hate for it to suddenly happen in a brewery.

Edit to add: Example... I bought a bottle of Indra Kunindra today and realized that peanuts could be added to a dish with those same ingredients. I suppose a brewer could add peanuts without any obligation to disclose that on the label. Am I mistaken about the laws and regs here?

Rate beer app does this. Oh and a cool idea would be labels with braille so blind people can enjoy it too.

...and it not only doesn't do all the stuff I wanted, it also crashed both time I tried to create a custom list (called "cellar) and add a beer by looking up the name.

    Uninstalled.

And I disagree. Innovate all day and all night. If it's good, it'll stick. If it's not, it will be a failed experiment. I for one am always seeking variety and tend to not drink the same beer very often. I don't have "go to" beers; I go to the next beer.

To me, every untried beer could be the best beer I will have ever had. I'd rather go tent camping in unexplored territory than stay at a traditional hotel in London when it comes to beer, though I will stay there if my travels take me there.

Weak analogy, but I hope it made the point.

This is not something that bugs me about craft beer, but your original post included a request for a beer-related problem that could be fixed by a product. Being a non-kegging home brewer, I wish there was a small, simple and inexpensive device that would be used to flush bottles with C02 during the bottling process.

    Isn't that called liposuction?

People who classify people as 'Hipsters' bug me. Usually the term is applied to everybody who enjoys something esoteric that you do not personally enjoy, in an attempt to explain away their disagreement with you as pretense, when it should be reserved for the very small minority who actually are pretending to like it to seem cool.

The only thing that bugs me about craft is lack of availability. I'd like to see laws eased to make distribution easier and more free.

The lack of 32oz or 1 litter growler options at many breweries.

I know what you are saying, I will always pick a beer I've never had over an old favourite. But a new craft take on a traditional style is usually what I want.
