I was just drinking out of my favorite chalice and it reminded me of abrasive,I don't know if I can wait 4 months for this special brew.
Of course it won't taste the same but will it some what resemble it?Will it be like a barleywine? Is five months really that old for an iipa?

It will taste mostly the same as fresh Abrasive. I had some of the mid January batch a couple weeks ago, and it tasted fine to me. The hops were slightly diminished, but not by much. Go ahead and buy it. As they say just do it 1 2 3 4.

Should be fine. Probably will taste a lot like Saga. (I have been waiting for my Saga pimp for a while now. I am very proud.)

I've continued to buy it whenever I see it. Have had a few with floaties but didn't taste off at all and I drank them anyway.

So you're saying he should just save himself a lot of money and get more beer by buying saga, right?

My ears are ringing from that endorsement. No wonder I've never heard of the place.

That's what I'm saying. I mean I'll complain about the retail pricing of damn near every other Surly beer, but not Abrasive. It's the only Surly beer (seasonal or otherwise) that I buy on a consistent basis at a liquor store.
