I was able to get a few Marshal Zhukovs and was originally just going to age them and drink them with friends but was starting to think I should trade one of them to add some variety to a bottle share I have planned in October. Just curious what would be a good beer to shoot for that would be a fair trade. I would only want to get a stout or a sour.
Pretty vague...do you like/want a coffee stout? Regular stouts? Bourbon barrel aged? I'd think swapping for a Mexican Cake would be pretty easy for you and a simple deal. However, if you and your group haven't had many out of distro stouts then I'd look to swap 2 Zhukovs for a variety of highly rated, yet "cheaper" and "easy" to find stouts like: Founders Breakfast Stout, Bourbon County Brand Stout, Peche Mortal, Bomb!, Expedition Stout, etc. If you find a good BA that wants Zhukov they should be able to get you a decent variety and fair deal. My .02, good luck
Funny story...I would like to drink a Zhukov and also a Good Gourd if that's available yet. But in all honestly, the best way is to type Zhukov into the search engine under titles only and see what kind of trades are being done. You'll see outlandish ones where no one responds and then you'll see fair ones that are done very quickly. Good luck OP!
Told you! And I'm sure @jshusc will take care of you...maybe even throw in a Gose! lol, cheers If anyone else is looking for love...look no longer as the matchmaker is here.
I've traded a bunch of MZ. Got some Awesome locals from Avery, FFF, New England Brewing to name a few. Don't go in having "to win" and you'll have no problem.
