Stopped by Third Window in SB this afternoon for the first time. Had a few of their IPAs and spent about half an hour or so having a solid conversation with the owner Kris. I have to say I'm really surprised these guys so under the radar. The beers were great, the space is really cool, there are burritos (and other food) in very short walking distance, and it's not even a minute off of the freeway in downtown. They've also got some barrel aged sours, a BA Quad, and a BA porter (Heaven Hill) aging. I expect to hear more good stuff from them in the future. Next time you pass through Santa Barbara, I highly recommend stopping in. Third Window Brewing Co. 406 East Haley St., Suite 3 Santa Barbara, CA 93101 http://thirdwindowbrewing.com/
Good call. Like you said, under the radar for some reason, but a fine place to enjoy some well made beers. If I didn't live 2 1/2 hours away I'd be a regular, but when in the area I always try to make a stop there.
I tried to go to Topa Topa's Funk Zone location recently after hitting up Third Window and I had to nope the hell out of there.
Sipping on a Third Window IPA (Revenge if the Xexo) right now at Eureka in Irvine. Really good stuff. Third Window is definelty on my must visit list next time I am up that way.
