    American lagers
    Wheat ales
    Belgian Golden Ales
    Saisons
    Pilsners
    Dry Irish Stouts

I really gotta say a Belgian Golden and/or sasions are really the most unique kind of a choice when you're thirsty and want something refreshing and extremely flavorful. But I really like a lot of macros too.

In comparison to lagers, ales have more residual sugar in them as a finished beer, thus sugar remaining in your mouth when thirsty won't relieve that thirst. Choose a lager style, and the lighter in color and the lower in alcohol, the better.

Session IPAs, Berliner Weisse, sour farmhouse ales.

Ice cold Jolly Pumpkin Bam Biere is my favorite when doing summer yard work. Bell's Oarsman is a go-to while grilling in the summer. Founders All Day IPA on the golf course.

    Also, Helles lagers, kolsch.

You know, if I had enough cash I would say gueze, but a good bank account should be able to hold steady with ipl and gose.

I'm generally not a huge fan of Draught Guinness (though I love both Guinness Extra and Foreign extra), however I do find a mug of Draught Guinness (with it's lighter body and lower ABV) to be very refreshing on summer days.
Yuengling Chesterfield Ale is also a good summer quaffer if I've run out of my own homebrew.

BMC of choice. Gose as a style, is a great thirst quencher. Cream ales like Sweet Action or Spotted Cow. I personally like a well made pilsner but they don't quench my thirst with the dry crisp finish.

Hefeweizens, Witbiers, Euro Pale Lagers, and American Amber Lagers would be my choice.

a heavily chilled resin... after a glass of water. I don't know why this works so well for me, but I swear it's fantastic when you feel like you're melting.

Spotted Cow and Surly Hell are great thirst quenchers for me, as is Old Style.

And Grain Belt. Do NOT forget about Grain Belt, especially in the summer.
