A cold draft Asahi or a Sapporo when thirsty is always a good idea.

mild ale! Also a good brown porter is surprisingly refreshing. The only time Ive ever chugged a bomber in one go was a brown porter!

    AAL's, Pilsners, Hefe's, and IPA's (particularly session IPA's).

I've heard Kolsch is an extremely refreshing style but I've never personally had the chance to try any.

Chalk up another for a nice pint or five of mild, light or dark.

Anything light in body. AAL as well as pilsners and often times for me, at least, sours seem to do the trick.

I could see myself smashing loads of blood orange Gose on a hot day.

Thinking of a good Helles, Pilsner or Witbier at first. A German Weizen if you are a bit low or fancy a more fulfilling beer.

A less obvious group in my case might include Pale Ales and Bitters, Schwarzbiers and Irish Stouts. And then my experience with Kolsch and Berliner Weisse is limited, but they seem to be great at this department too.

    Y'all know beer isn't actually thirst-quenching, right? lol

Obnoxious science :stuck_out_tongue:: Alcohol inhibits the production of anti-diuretic hormone, thereby making you lose more water than you gain from drinking, which promotes dehydration, and... thirst... :grimacing::grimacing::grimacing:

    Yeah, that guy...

    For me it's APAs
    Pilsners
Ciders do it for me too
    Vienna style lager
    Bocks on cooler summer days

I stay away from heavily hopped/ bitter IPAs and stouts/ porters in the hotter months
