Drinking a 2.5yr aged Siberian Night right now.

The nose is a ton of sweet milk chocolate but the taste only follows the nose slightly accompanied with a little bit of dark breads and burnt coffee but it fades pretty quick. Thin mouthfeel and kind of dry as well.

SN was my gateway RIS but I honestly haven't had it in quite some time and wouldn't recommend investing the time into aging it again. This one is better left fresh imo.

This is one of my favorite brews. I was thinking of aging a few of the bourbon barrel Siberian Night to see if it improves.

I've had a batch 1 BA SN and Wulver recently. Amazing. I don't age regular SN, but aging BASN for at least a year is awesome.

Batch 1 Wulver and SN were/ are insane. Non of the other releases have stacked up to them, for me personally, but i keep hoping.

I have tasting notes from fresh, 2 year, and 3.5 year. I didn't note any thinning of the body. But I did also note that it became dry. My other main observation was the dominant flavor moving from more coffee to more cocoa.
