My first thread creation, so please show me some grace if some of these are obvious to drink now/age.

    I have:

2014 - Duvel Belgian Golden Ale
    2014 - Lagunitas Sumpin' Wild (72.5 IBU, 8.9% ABV)
    2014 - Lagunitas Brown Shugga' (51.1 IBU, 9.9% ABV)
    7/26/2013 - Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA
    3/17/2014 - Orkney Brewery's Skull Splitter (Scotch Ale, 8.5%)
    12/13/2014 - Three Floyds Gumballhead
2014 - Three Floyds Alpha King (Pale Ale)
    2014 - Bell's Mercury (Belgian Style Ale)

    2/27/2014 - Ommegang Abbey Ale
9/5/2013 - Cambridge Brewing Company Tripel Threat (Belgian Style Tripel)
2014 Reserve - Deschutes' The Abyss (Best After 11/10/2015 - Should I age it for several years after?)
2014 - Seventh Son Brewery - Firecat (Double Red Ale, 9.4%)
2014 - Seventh Son Brewery - Ladies & Gentleman (Barleywine Style Ale, 50 IBU, 11%)
2014 - Lagunitas' Hairy Eyeball (American Strong Ale, 9.1%)
11/18/2014 - Dogfish Head American Beauty (Imperial Pale Ale, 9%)

I'm storing all of these in two separate refridgerators at around 45 degrees. Are there any in particular that I should never age, or ones that you have tried (or heard about) to age and have seen positive results? I know that hoppy beers will lose their burst of hops in regards to flavors, so that may rule some of them out, but I'm just looking to get some more opinion! Thank you all very much in advance, your ideas and resources are incredibly helpful to a novice like myself!

I personally wouldn't age the Brown Shugga', Gumballhead, or Alpha King for certain.

I would ONLY continue aging the DFH 120, Ommegang Abbey Ale (mixed results... don't age too long), the Hairy Eyeball, and the Laides & Gentlemen.

Don't know about the Orkney Brewery's Skull Splitter, but it is a reasonable candidate for aging.

    Don't know about Abyss.

Age the Abyss. They always taste better after at least a year or two.

I wouldn't age the brown shugga if you like hoppy beers. I would if you would like a beautiful barleywine in 2 - 3 years.

Oh man, thank you guys so very much for all the responses!! I will consider all of these avenues and probably crack open one of the Alpha King's tonight for review.

Old Alpha King is horrible. Since those are not bottle dated I quit buying them and ordering bottles in bars.

Do you have more than one of the Firecat? It's the first time that beer has been brewed, so we don't know for certain how it's going to change over time. I'm planning on cellaring a few. We're going to release it reach year, so if you've enjoyed it fresh it certainly won't hurt to keep the bottle as there will be more down the line.

I only have one, but luckily, living in Columbus, I have the ability for another purchase. Do you work for Seventh Son?

    Age these:

    7/26/2013 - Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA
2014 - Seventh Son Brewery - Ladies & Gentleman (Barleywine Style Ale, 50 IBU, 11%)
2014 Reserve - Deschutes' The Abyss (Best After 11/10/2015 - I'd drink it a year after best after date and maybe grab another if available to do at either 6 months after or 18 months after. You know, experiment with best time to age.)

It is in my most humblest of opinions that the rest will be better closer to now than a year from now. The only one I do not know about, nor have a foggy clue about is the Lagunita Sumpin' Wild. I don't do wilds and have no idea what aging does to them.
