That will create enough public backlash to put some heat on the politicians and end this farce across Canada.
HaHa, "large amount"! meanwhile, several tractor trailers make their way across the border bringing friends their 3 month supply from QC. Lets face it, Canada is made up of 10 countries and four others to the north that don't have enough police to defend their sovereign borders. The Feds could end "the farce" easily by removing alcohol and tobacco as controlled substances. But, they won't as we don't have any strong federalist politicians.
I have a friend on the Ottawa police who says if any cop ever busted a person for bringing too much beer back from Gatineau,they would be laughed out of the station...it's not taken seriously round these parts .
