be careful with the reviews, a lot of the top scorers are not beginner beers, i would say for every three, hyped,well reviewed, sought after beer, try at least one that you never heard of. And the What beer are you drinking now thread is a lot of fun.

 

I'm just basing my assertion of your age on your avatar, which is what I just KNOW you look exactly like in real life. Flat colored, two-dimensional and all!

 

It's a tough look to pull off, but I'm pretty happy with it. I'll always be 25 at heart, though (much to the chagrin of my better half...)

 

Yet, I enjoy your reviews. Especially that knee slapper on Stone's Matts Burning Rosids!

Oh and I'll second the What Beer Are You Drinking thread, always a good time. Secondly (or something), It's really not that important to check ratings before you buy every beer. If you see it mentioned a lot and stumble on it awesome, but sometimes you stumble on awesome just because it looked good, and then some newer or local beers won't have much in the way of ratings anyway and they can be awesome. Beer is awesome.

Welcome. This is a great hobby. Or passion. Or both.

 

Have fun with it. This is a very fun hobby (lifestyle?) that only gets better with the more you experience and know. Don't try to learn it all too soon because you can't, with experience and time comes knowledge. You'll meet a ton of cool people throughout your travels. Don't be a truck chasing hoarder, just don't. And remember it's just beer, don't let it get you down.
