Thoughts on Berkley Brewing IPA?

    Just trying a new nano brewery out in Mass. It's a 7% ABV, grassy feel to it. Has anybody else had a chance to try it?

    I've tried it. Very well made stuff. Clean and crisp. Not flashy, but easy drinking and enjoyable. I wish them much success!

    There really is a shortage/need for easy drinking local IPA's. Oh wait....

    Does easy drinking/not flashy mean that it isn't very hoppy? If so, that's depressing.

    I like a lot of different types of IPA's including the "easy drinking balanced" type - but it's already well-covered around here...I don't need a nano selling $8.99 bombers of it.

    Not sure - just a guess given some of the pricing coming out of local nanos & gypsy brewers recently.

    It's under $5 for a 22 oz bottle. It's well hopped - and crystal clear. Medium body and well balanced.

    2 threads in one night on BBC? weird.....
    Brewer's house is exactly 4.5 miles from me, and I have hopes the coffee porter will be as good as the IPA!
