The wife and I both dug Clementine, and generally we find wits made stateside (w/a couple of notable exceptions) to be pretty meh at best.

Had the Eagle Claw Fist (pretty fucking hoppy) and Hoppy Feet last night. I enjoyed both very much. Just cracked the 1.5 and I'm digging it. Prior to buying these yesterday I sampled Third Party Candidate and Tramp Stamp. Both were nice as well. So that's five I've tried and liked them all. Looking at the dates on the bottles, all we're brewed in Sept which is nice to see.

I feel like im crazy, cause me and my buddies are the only people on here that think their beer is garbage. maybe cause i brew I pick up all the mistakes and off flavors, ive tried about 8 of their beers and hoppy feet is the only tolerable one. I keep trying them, hoping for the one ill really like. I also think they are too gimicy with their names. Not trying to be offensive, just telling my opinion

I am not going to remember everyone, but I have enjoyed them all and am very happy to see them in Minnesota now! The stout have all been enjoyable to awesome and they do a great job pushing the styles past the norm (in my opinion!) I received a hand full early this year in trades and was stoked, so now that they are here just plain happy!

Blaecorn Unidragon was the only hoppy imperial stout I can recall enjoying because it was hoppy.

I stopped in south lyndale liquors and was blown away to see clown shoes on the shelf, had no idead they were coming into mn, totally under the radar. I have to admit, I had a bit of a beer boner, as everything i 've had of there's is excellent. They have a great selection and prices aren't too high.

    Man, we're spoiled here.

I brew. There were no discernible off flavors of flaws in the beers I had.

I thought the Chocolate Sombrero was outstanding. Also tried the Brash Bollocks (12%) Imperial IPA while not in the Maharaja range it was a well brewed beer. Had a sample of the Tramp Stamp Belgian IPA and initial impression was sweet and a little fruity. Look forward to trying more.

Brash Bollocks is a different brewery than Clown Shoes, FYI. That's Brash Brewing Co.

<sarcasm>Wow - it seems like the rest of us here on BA must just have no clue and give into the hype about things...when compared with you and your buddies.</sarcasm>

Just because the beers do not happen to match your flavor profile does not mean that they are mistakes.

I've only had Clementine on tap and it was a very nice lunch beer Very easy to drink, especially for a summer day.

I've had Tramp Stamp and would say the label is better than the beer, but it's definitely worth picking up at like 6 bucks a bomber and I had Clem 1.5 which again, good but didn't knock my socks off.

All of their beers are completely average in my opinion. None of them stick out in any way.
