I picked up 3 different bombers today, and can't wait to try them. I am especially looking forward to Hoppy Feet 1.5.

Odell Mountain Standard is an Imperial Black IPA, and that's been in our market for two years. I like it a little more than Hoppy Feet 1.5, myself. But both are great to drink.

TW near me had a four pack of Lubrication black ale for $6. Great deal, right? Turns out the batch was a year old.

It actually didn't taste that bad. Just not too much hop character.

I think hoppy feet 1.5 was pretty good, excited to try the sombrero one at some point.

Sombrero was good, although I expected more of a chile flavor. Would buy again though

a good beer that just hit mn with chiles is Widmer SxNW, an american strong ale with cocoa nibs and chiles and possibly cinamon.

They're kind of hit or miss for me. Flight of the Pimp was great, Hoppy 1.5, Choc. Sombrero, and Clementine 1.5 were good though. I feel like they phone it in 1/2 the time. But they did help bring Brash up to Mass so that's cool.

Had Hoppy Feet 1.5 and Chocolate Sombrero last night. Both were good. Hoppy Feet 1.5 can contend with Sublimely Self-Righteous in the category of great imperial black IPAs.

I believe they are both done by Mercury Brewing Company per the labels. Would love some clarification from the locals though.

I believe they all come from the same facility.

Hoppy Feet jumps to the top of the list of Black IPA's in this market for me.

I know they have plans to start canning...even one of their imperial stouts, so... kinda interesting. Not sure if they'll be 4-packs or sixers, though...
