Overpriced for the quality of beer you get.

OTOH it is good to see beer so overpriced on the shelf when so many great local breweries are starting around here. Let all the big guys raise their prices like they are doing, seems it will make it that much easier to convince folks to drink the local beers of equal quality and lower price. I picture the day when folks across this country purchase mostly local beer, and the overpriced, out of area brews sit on shelf gathering dust.

That's cause we put fresh jalapeƱos in it. Nothing artificial

On tap now at my go to bar...the Black Sheep Ale House. Excellent. And they ran Lil' B before that. Also really good. Its nice to see ET there, as you seldom find them out on Long Island. I've had other Evil Twins before. Hit and miss with me honestly. There is a place in Brooklyn called Torst that has an affiliation with Evil Twin, so they always have a selection available. Ive been there twice. And sampled a few at a Beer Event also. Again, some didnt grab me, some did. You have to feel your way I suppose, like with any brewery youre not familiar with, but I'd say ET is worth the time, and the two I mention are good starts.

I'm pretty sure Torst is owned by Jeppe.
Lil' B is the base beer for IBB. It's a great base, but the biscotti break treatment makes it amazing.

The Bikini Beer is a GREAT beer for what it is. It's not the perfect IPA by any means, but how it achieves that bitter flavor at only 2.7% ABV is beyond me. I consider it a great tailgating beer for concerts/football games. Rather than loading up on 8-10 domestic brews pre game (or only 3 good beers), you can session Bikini Beer with impunity and not worry about the drive home. I don't drink it on my front porch but it gives me a little more freedom when I have to drive.

It's my understanding that Torst is run by some of the same people as 12% Distribution which distributes Evil Twin, Westbrook, Against the Grain, and Local Option in New York City, but not by Jeppe himself.

I'm not a brewer or anything but I'm pretty sure you can dry-hop and wet-hop water and get it to be pretty bitter at 0% ABV.

I have had yin more than once. I would buy Even More Jesus and Ashtray heart again but they are not in my area.

I'll have to try Ashtray Heart to see how that one is.

I found Molotov Cocktail just awesome. Never had it before this year. Then tried Yang--loved it too. A little pricey but worth it for a change.

I bought several Christmas Eve in a NYC Hotel Room recently because the price was right. Other than that, my only repeat purchase has been Coffee Jesus. I recently had Even More Jesus and could see myself splurging again. I was so sad when it was gone. Also pretty buzzed.

IBB is incredible, the only Evil Twin I've had thus far but I did grab a Yin and Yang to make the black and tan at a later date.

It's overpriced, especially in Philly. But worth it.

Really like Molotov Cocktail and Justin Blaeber was pretty good. Very happy with everything from them so far.

Just picked up a bottle of IBB so I will see how I feel about them soon. Not sure of the average price but I wouldn't call it expensive unless it's just garbage.
