Hey everyone. Just trying to decide if I should bring these guys into my store. I read some of the reviews and seemed a little mixed but had a 92 rating overall I think. Anyone with an opinion about these guys I would love to hear from you.

Huh. Summit is like an old friend to me. Solid, well done, and not overly flashy; as would be typical of a true school Minnesotan. Always worth checking out.

I really like Saga, especially for the price

Must agree with this one, Saga is really top notch. Have had it in my home kegerator multiple times.

I agree too, Summit makes some nice beer, they are always a safe choice, I don't think I had anything that made me go "Wow" but still they make some enjoyable stuff.

I passed them over for a long time partly because their packaging is so ugly. They could use a marketing revival to get away from their 1990's microbrewery look. It doesn't make me want to pick it up from their shelf. Their beer however speaks for itself.

Saga is the shit at $7.49 / 6. Great value and beer is as good as some $4 -$5 more.

Saga is an overly dry empty IPA.

Agreed! its been in the liquor store I visit for a long time and a friend of mine bought it and gave me a few. I was extremely impressed, and yes, the packaging could use some serious updating.

For those that like English-style IPAs, their regular IPA is great. For those that prefer American-style IPAs, their Saga is DAMN good, esp. for the price. Their EPA is a 'gateway' beer for many like SN Pale Ale is. Their seasonals are hit or miss, but their Unchained Series can be excellent

Summit EPA is a solid session beer and accessible enough that it was the beer at my wedding. I've been away from the Midwest for about five years now, but when I visited this summer, I was really impressed with the Meridian (Belgian Pale).

Summit is a quality product, way more deserving of distribution than products like Left Coast and Rogue. Saga is one of best IPA's for the price, and Im a big fan of their Horizon Red Ale.

Have not had Horizon, but damn, I am a big fan of Saga! 8.99 is what I pay. Hope the price stays that way! Saga is totally underrated!

Too bad they don't bottle their Oatmeal Stout, it's easily one of the best of the style I've ever had. It even holds a candle to Samuel Smith's.

I hear you, people tend to sleep on it for some reason. Probably in the top five for best priced six packs under $10.00.

Summit Hefe is the first beer that I actually enjoyed the taste of and marked my descent into craft beer. Their oatmeal stout is out of this world and as mentioned, Saga is one of the best bargains in stores.

Summit is a solid if not overtly adventurous/flashy brewery, and I like that. No filler. Just good beer in styles they can (and do) nail with consistency.
