Thoughts on Tampa Bay Beer Week?

    Had a great time at the Micro Man trade show! Cigar City's people were hella cool; thanks for the tour & beers! Found a killer bar tucked away in Ybor City - New World - and some banging pig knuckles with Jamaican jerk sauce at The Boneyard. I know we missed a ton of events and are missing even more as the week closes out. What beer happenings were your favorites a/o what are you most looking forward to?

    Went to the Bell's spotlight last night at WOB-Downtown. BB9k, Hopslam, Goes to 11, and Expedition were all pleasant.

    And I'm pretty sure it is safe to say that everyone is most looking forward to Huna.

    I haven't been to as many events as I was hoping. I went to the Angry Chair release at CCB last night, that was pretty awesome. I've stopped in at my local Brass Tap a couple times for their nightly FL brewery tappings. On Saturday a buddy and I went to the event at The Mermaid... first time going there, probably won't go back. 6:30 pm on a Saturday night with a special event and they only had one bartender working, and she was having to take care of all the tables too... Took us about 20 minutes to get a beer, then when another bartender showed up it still took as long, and they weren't really that busy. Tomorrow is going to be awesome and a pure shitshow all at the same time. Pure chaos is coming.
