Thoughts on Widmer Alchemy Ale

    Tried it out a few days ago and have to say its very "meh".
    Not a bad beer per-say but compared to Drifter it is bad.
    I noticed it got some good scores from people,but its pretty bland stuff, i could imagine this coming from A-B or the like ..really.
    I will miss my Drifter in the summer months though :slight_frown:

    I sampled both side by side with Drifter and preferred the Alchemy a bit more. The hop bill is cleaner with a lighter body in the Alchemy which I liked. Age may have been a factor in this decision. While I enjoyed the beer, I will not be back to purchase it again any time soon.

    Great marketing on Widmer's part by attaching two different Untappd badges to it.
