Thread removed/avoiding future removal

    Yesterday I posted a thread in BeerTalk with a link to a news story about Founders Dirty Bastard being banned in Alabama. It seems to have already been removed from the site, and I'm not sure why. The article was from local Michigan news and was published yesterday, so it seemed valid enough to post, and I expressed no hatred towards Alabama in any way. Basically I'm just wondering if I violated posting rules in some way. I'm fairly new to the site and posting my own threads so obviously I don't want all my postings deleted in the future. Thanks for the help.

    In your case, there was (is) already a thread on the topic; hence your post was removed. In the future, simply take a few moments to search before posting in order to avoid posting duplicate items. Thanks.
