It's definitely better than Tom Foolery. We went there right after Three 3's. Huge step up. Totally different aesthetics too.
Absolutely agree, glad we went to Tomfoolery first. People at both places were super nice, but beer at Three 3s was much better. @NJNYC732 , they took the name from their address, they used to face the side street and were #333. Since an expansion they now face the main street and have a different #.
The place was way bigger than I expected. The beers went above my expectations as well. The owner had me when he was talking about other beers. There were a LOT of IPAs on tap, which I am okay with. They just released Kaos (6.9% IPA), which came home in a growler. I would return. Just gauging other people's experiences before I write anything in depth
Take a look at Three's Address in Park Slope. (Not that I think this place stole the naming idea or anything, just pointing out that there's no original ideas left!)
It is my understanding that Threes reached out to Three 3's shortly after the latter created their facebook page to discuss the name issue. I have not heard anything since then.
I'm starting to see some of their beers pop up at local shops at the growler station by me such as Bug Juice, Coffee Porter, and 101 IPA. Anyone have any good or bad experiences with any of their beers recently?
