Three Brothers Brewing 2nd Anniversary Party

    We will be celebrating (a little late) 2 years of Three Brothers Brewing on Jan. 9th. We have prepared a Barrel Aged Barley Wine to enjoy for this occasion. Draft will be available at the brewery as well as bottles to go (2 bottle limit person person). Live music from Randy Black Entertainment and food from Flavor Savor BBQ. Passport members be sure to come for this event for a special end of the year gift.

    Anyone heading down, I wish I could but ill be stuck at work. Mabye I can work something out with work so I can pick up a couple bottles of this.

    @ThreeBrosBrew maybe you guys could save @Iamjeff6 a few bottles, since he is likely responsible for about a dozen horizon memberships being taken...

    I'll be there shortly after 5, gotta make a pit stop at Midtowne for a Fruit Basket bottle from Champion. Make yourself known!! (if we haven't met already) :slight_smile:

    I think it's (the barleywine) very good. I'm usually not the biggest barleywine fan either. At 14.5% it is barely a sipper. I could see downing a couple of those easily if I wasn't aware of the abv. Turn out for the event was pretty great as well.

    Didn't end up making it, was hoping to try the barely wine. Wonder if theyll have any left

    The barley wine is very good. To me it's one of the best beers I've had from them. The barrel presence is an undertone and provides a nice vanilla and caramel flavor in the finish right before the booze. Like @lillitnn92 said it dosent drink like 14.5% abv. There is a little bozzyness and slight burn. When I drank it the first thing that went through my mind was Sucaba. Not exactly the same but very reminiscent.

    I don't know when you will be able to make it down but there was only 1000 bottles. I do know that Resolute is almost gone.
