Just the one alley in front of the doors that you get to from South Main St. will be blocked. The parking lot and the alley on the other side of the brewery will be open.

I also think they are just doing bottle sales outside and draft inside. They have enough taps to accommodate all of the beers.

So what time is everyone heading there?

Its gonna be cold, and the best way to warm up is drink some good beers! Whats the chances of having some sort of line bottle share? Is this possible, is this legal? ( I know at Dark Lord Day the line was just a huge bottle share)

Pretty sure VA ABC (****s) do not think to highly of public shares. I`ve never seen one at any of the Hardywood releases. We will be driving up from Roanoke, stopping at Redbeard, so I doubt we get there before 1:00ish. After dealing with Monstro two weeks ago at NoDa I really don`t care about the variant bottles, just give me a 5oz taste for the tick.

It`s going to be cold as balls, but should be a blast.

My wife is leaving at 4:30 am or so for a 5k in Baltimore, I had to find a sitter for my kids, I got that covered last week, not leaving my house until 8:30, meeting a buddy at 8:45, hope to be there by 10...breakfast stout for the ride down? Yes please...

I can do one of two things tomorrow. I can wake up at 7:30am shower grab a quick bite and drive 2 hours to Harrisonburg by myself. Sit outside for 2 hours in 25 degree weather for the "chance" at variants. Drink a few small pours and get something to eat from a food truck. Then turn around and drive 2 hours back home.

Or I can wake up around 9-10am. Take my time eating breakfast. Sit in a warm house either watching college football or playing PS4. Once I feel like a beer I can drink some wake-n-bake, gingerbread stout or one of the hundred other beers I have at home.

Why do I keep debating what to do tomorrow? One choice seems like the obvious one. But the other keeps drawing me back in. I wish I knew the bottle count of the variants that might make up my mind one way or the other.

One last thought, my brother lives near Hardywood and drove by the release last week. He estimated 500 people waiting for a beer that was being released into distribution all over the state. Wonder what tomorrow is going to be like? My guess is you won't get some of the people coming from out of state. But I bet people from NOVA, Charlottesville, Tech and Richmond will be showing up.

I'm aiming to get 2 of the 3 variants, but one will suffice. After waiting for Sexual Chocolate last year, this should be a piece of cake. Bottle share while waiting? Is that frowned upon?

We are NOT allowed to share bottles in line last time I talked to the brothers. They looked into it and there was no easy way to allow bottle shares in the line. You can thank VA ABC for that.

Any chance someone coming has a CCB Apricot Lacto? I am down for trading, but that's the only one I can think of wanting off the top of my head. Maybe if WW bottled their barrel aged DIPA or barrel aged imperial stout? those were good too but only had on draft.

So any word if they will allow lines to form early? And anyone from Winchester driving down?
