Three Chiefs (2019)

Ok thanks luckily I get all the BT bottles so hopefully it's good.

 

Horus beers are delicious so hopefully some of these tag along events will happen down south so I can try out 3 Chiefs and see what all the fuss is about.

 

Kyle (from Horus) grew up in and still has family in El Segundo, where Three Chiefs is located. This is also where Rock & Brews is located.

And the two obviously have some commonalities in the types of beers they enjoy and brew, so they have flown in many of the same circles over the years and have become friends.

Nothing dubious about any of that, imo, but you can try to spin and read desperation or shady ulterior motives into damn near anything, I guess. Especially if you don't know all of the details and you come from a negative bias to begin with.

 

It's hard for me to imagine a business being desperate to stay relevant when even people who don't like them can't stop talking about them.

You know how much I talk about Olive Garden?

 

I think most of us are just bored dorks.

 

Or recovering FOMO addicts.

Its like listening to an X smokers talk about how appalled they are that other people still smoke.

 

That monkish anniversary party tho....

People lining up for beer at a festival is slightly different from dudes pouring verticals in the parking lot 24 hours before a 100 bottle release.

It is kind of weird you care more than the El Segundo PD who stopped by and had a very friendly chat with us.

 

Yeah, that would be weird if I were complaining about the legalities of it and not the annoying aspect of beer culture in general.

It sounds like the issue was resolved for the last release, and good for them, but a bunch of dorks hyping up releases a day in advance is embarrassing as hell. I hope they stick with not perpetuating it anymore.

The second picture I can confirm that one of those ppl in the photo has excellent taste in beer. I drink with him quite often.

I also understand that the horus hootenany was a smaller venue (at least the inside portion), so it wouldn't be tough to get the ppl all riled up. Hehehe.

I'd say that I saw a few of those same individuals at the MT carnival of caffeination, but I was lacking sleep....and every beer nerd with a beard just looks the same to me. I only pay attention if they have a Dodgers or Kings hat on since I am a Padres and Blackhawks fan. I gotta keep a closer eye on them since they may be up to no good.
