Repping it as a larger release then letting the first 100 people buy twice as much is pretty funny.

Prolly 100 chairs lined up. About 30 people actually hanging around.

Just waiting for someone to post on craigslist that there's a bunch of free lawn chairs at that location...

Need to try one and then realize what they spent to get rid of the other one. #beerlogic

Did anybody actually go to this? They updated on IG they were giving wrist bands to “PEOPLE not CHAIRS.” I’m really hoping some of the douches who set down chairs then left missed out.

Got there around 4 and got a wrist band around 4:45. There were a ton of chairs - saw a lady with a patio chair - but I am not sure if anyone missed out due to not being there for the wrist band. I was near the back so I might have missed any drama near the front, lol.

Good for him! If I had that kind of clout, I'd do the same thing. You can't get it? Sucks for you! Gotta stand in line hours for it??? Not my problem! Seriously, more power to him.

Only thing is, no one wants to see another white bearded dude chug beers (although I do have GREAT HAIR, just sayin').

I like how they pounded a good size pour out of a plastic cup like it's Bud Light when the people in line will sip it out of their finest chalice like it's the rarest cognac. Classic.

So.Much.Clout. Like, this is next level clout. I mean, Three Chiefs level. Rad.

Anyways, what is this candied coconut stuff that they toss in beer? How can I get some? My BCBS (the non-infected years, of course) is missing floaties.

Feels good to finally be caught up in this thread.

I’m genuinely interested in trying their beer. If not for this thread, I may not have heard of it.

It ended up not so bad. They ended up allowing the first 150 to buy two bottles (the amount of people that were there by the time that they were handing out writs bands) and some people who came after that were able to buy (but not too many).

As always, the idiots (chairs) up front result in an unnecessarily early line up.

Anyone have any info on the tap room? The information I've seen online is sparse. There is only one rating ( no review ) on BA.

I can see hours posted as:
    • W: 4:30 - 9:00
    • Th 4:30 - 10:00
    • F: 3:00 - 11:00
    • Sa: 3:00 - 11:00
    • Su: 3:00 - 11:00
Anyone have a sense of the number and quality of the taps and/or bottle pours?

They are only open when they NEED to be open. Unless you want to have a bottle share in the distillery then they will open it up for you and you can try a bottle from one of the "limited" pallets they have of previous beers they brewed.
