I didn’t mind Fake Names but it basically tasted like mango juice. Didn’t taste like an IPA at all.

Because a certain demographic would never want to drink beer that actually tastes and looks like a beer. Seriously, these consumers only want super sweetened thick sugar ladened soda-hops.

$50 + tax for one 500ml bottle according to someone who won the raffle. No wonder they didn't advertise that little tidbit in their original IG post.

 

Who do they think they are, Horus? hahahha

 

And sold later for $750 +, not a bad investment !

The whole artificial scarcity thing is both ridiculous and very annoying. Showed up at Homage today to try their beers and also the collab with 3C's. Apparently, the collab ran out pretty quickly. Was told that it was super limited yada, yada, yada (a FB post said something like 50 bottles to go). What was awesome though, was watching certain people walking out with multiple bottles (4+). Moral of the story, you need clout. Done with both these breweries.

 

Major bummer if that's truly what happened. I've been a fan of their stuff for a while but the line hype is too much and extremely disappointing. They've been posting 10+ instagram stories of their ridiculous bottle share line lawn chair bros and that's enough for me to sit out most future release.

 

I am shocked at anyone defending a brewery like this at all. These are glorified homebrewers that just dump sweets into their beer to hide flaws and sell 100 bottles at a time.

Because they’re not good brewers and probably rely on mobile canners if they don’t can it themselves by hand since you know...small batch release bruh?

I was given a pour of Dos at one of the bottleshares before FWIBF. I am not a coffee drinker so uncertain the flavors that Ethiopian coffee would do to a base stout, but this was basically a lightly flavored rauchbier that is hiding as a stout.

 

I want off this wild ride of a thread. But at the same time I don't?
