How would 3 Floyds "plan" to have extra beer for the production shutdown when they can't meet the local demand while brewing at full capacity? Maybe bring an outside consultant to engineer extra hours into their brew day???

If you swing through Chicago Small Bar Division tapped a bunch of Three Floyds stuff last night, so a good amount of it should still be on, and just up the way a little you can probably pick up some bottles at Life's a Cabernet, Janel does a good job of stashing the bottles around there so they often get overlooked despite being a small store. Have a good trip!

Edit: According to Beermenus, which is usually pretty up to date for Small Bar, they have on: Zombie Dust, Blackheart, Arctic Panzer, Rabbid Rabbit, and the Off Color collab. Pretty good list!

I picked up alpha king there not too long ago and pretty sure it was $10.99. I'll pay that extra $1 vs brewery prices to not drive to munster

I should have clarified that I was referring to Zombie Dust. Sorry.

Anyone know, with the new 1 case limit, is that a limit on Zombie Dust? Can you get a case of ZD and maybe a case of Alpha King or Gumballhead as well? (Also, I do know that as of right now, there is no ZD to go...)

    Thanks!

Where did you see 1 case limit? I hope that's not true because that would suck. "drive hours to our brewery but you can only take back 1 case of our beer".

I don't understand why people continually post the exact same question. They literally update their carryout menu every day. Bookmark this: http://www.3floyds.com/brewpub/ and learn to internetz.

There is still a case discount for 22oz bombers, which is 12 bottles for the price of 10 bottles.

There goes any incentive to buy by the case. Next time I stop in I'm going to get 3 of every sixer available just so they have to hassle with opening multiple cases and having a sixer left behind.

Yeah, you'll show 'em! Down with the man! F*ck convenience! $10 per 6-pack at the source when retail is $12 is bullsh*t!

Someone should start a riot and burn FFF to the ground!!!

The comment was based on the fact that most people buy their beer by the case, which no longer saves the buyer five dollars. Buying three sixers of multiple beers would be a pain in the ass for person behind the counter, but whatever. Based on the hilarious response you provided I assume you knew all of this.

By the way, $12 is high around here for sixers. Growlers of Alpha King are available for $7.50 after tax. Ironic considering you can't get it to go at the brewery, and even if you could, it wouldn't be as cheap.

The misconception between 22 oz/750 ml pricing and case pricing is mind blowing, most people can't even do simple math. I bet the same people bitching about $40 for 288 ounces of world class beer have no problem dropping $20+ for a bottle of BCBCS (but, but barrel aged stout with coffee ZOMG) because they can justify it in some weird way. As you already noted the bomber equivalent is extremely cheap. We should all be thankful FFF isn't putting this in bombers for $8.99.

Are there any stores that might have Zombie Dust in stock? I have a friend in that area today and wouldn't mind trying some.
