Love me some LRL! Can't wait! My only complaint is that they're a little pricey. Weren't these bombers going for $15 last time they were around?

Permanent funeral was released in march, august and December. so no set schedule, basically they do what the f they want, just like always. They also had immutable dusk and back masking in December. They are kind of got away from the monthly bomber deal the last 2 years, it used to be one a month, now it's 1-3 a month.

Also, with the new contract with windy city, everything will see distribution except Dark Lord and the BA one off deals. That is why perm funeral was distributed and sold out in 3 days vs the 3 weeks in the previous 2 releases. And why it is next to impossible to land any Zombie Dust.

Yeah its gotten ridiculous, when I hear about three floyds having zombie dust (been drinking it almost daily for years as I live ten mins from the brewery) I head up there.
After almost an hour wait for the to go line (listening to people who are about to post said beer on craigslist, or how they are there for the owner of a liquor store who needs a decent stock of it to up the price and sell)... Sometimes it gets annoying, but showing up 20 or 30 mins early will save you about an hour, sometimes alot more in the end.

Side note : Ive gone and still go to three floyds multiple times a week since ive turned 21, and Ive never had a bad/unlikeable experience (that I keep hearing about everywhere) in the brewpub other then on a DLD last year or the year before (cant remember)when the brewpub didnt have what everyone waited, which sucks because most of us would have had much more fun enjoying one of the best beer events/parties ive ever been to, rather than being in line for multiple hours and getting murked after all of our time

FYI The brewpub is amazing except on DLD, never heard of anyone having to wait over an hour or so (sounds long for your beer/food, but its worth the wait or the wait wouldnt be there) unless its really busy on the weekends and everyones out on a beercation, but when I go up there daily around lunch theres plenty of open tables and usually just a few locals.

People need to realize its not the best time to come on a friday night or saturday when everyone else that wants to visit is visiting them at the same time.

Blakkr is on sale at the brewpub ($10). Bottled 02-14. I thought it was outstanding. Creamy mouthfeel is spot on. if you liked In The Name of the Suffering this will blow it out of the water imo. Highly recommended. Also, Rich life was limit 4 per person fyi.

I saw Ham on Rye is on tap. They need to bottle that in growlers so I can take it home.

I picked up 2 living the Rich life and 3 blakkr. Thought booth beers were good. The latest Surly/ Three Floyds collaboration Blakkr is way better then Urine Trouble.

Can someone justify the live a rich life for $15 bucks other than its pretty tasty? Does money go to that Rich guys family or something because this beers costs about $10 bucks more than it should or at the very least, $5 bucks more then the going rate of a big bomber IPA in the chicago-area. Didn't I buy a couple bombers of this for 8 or 9 bucks at DLD a couple years ago? I guess three floyds is inching towards the wine market with demand style pricing, which is very metal.
