Three Floyds in Ohio?

Picked some ZD and Dreadnaught up yesterday at acme in fairlawn. ZD wasn't out but I knew who to ask and sure enough they had a case in the back.

 

more and more all the time. I don't know about your area, but in columbus it's around, usually you have to know who to ask. Not very often is it 'on the shelf' , but if you ask it can suddenly appear.

 

I'm convinced that Three Floyds is the official "we might have some in the back" beer in Columbus. Noy complaining. That's how I got a whole sixer of ZD

 

I have a friend going to Columbus. Do you guys know what day it comes in? Can you recomend a store and/or someone to ask for?

 

Hard to say, Savor Growl, whole foods dublin, gentiles (grandview heights), grandview carryout, have been my best hookups, but it really is just a matter of when the shipments come in, seems to be about once a month. Honestly, I like their beers; if they have some, i buy it, if they don't, there is plenty of other good stuff to buy(especially for a cali person, fatheads, columbus, jackie o's, bell's, founders, etc.). Tell your friend to look for a bottle of broo dew(3 floyds wet hop) this week. that is worth a grab!

I would skip Savor Growl, as they don't get any Three Floyds, as per the owner. They like to raffle off anything that is limited in distro, which pissed the rep off.

I'd check both Andersons, Weilands, and Barrel and Bottle. My brother was able to get a bottle of Razor Hoof right off the shelf at the Andersons on Brice.

 

I just bought some zombie dust at savor growl two weeks ago.

 

What I said came straight from the owner's mouth, so either something changed with the rep or with them.

Sure it wasn't just War Mullet? Best store in Cleveland was told no PF this week and I can't believe that one store in the state got it early.

 

I was able to pick up both War Mullet and PF at Weiland's on Tuesday.....I haven't heard of anywhere else in Columbus that had PF.
