I am making my first trip to three floyds this Saturday. We want to sit in the brewpub for awhike and sample. Can I get to go if I go straight to the brewpub when I get there or do I have to hit the to go kiosk to get beer seperate?

    Thanks
    Jason

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, but I have been there a few times in the past few months (from Cleveland) and usually see how long the wait is for a table in the brewpub, then go in line at the to go kiosk. It's literally connected to the brewpub so it's not like you have to run around or anything, but you have to pay for them separately (as far as I know).

They're in the same building, but there are separate doors and lines for the to-go and for the pub. My advice would be to get there 45 minutes before they open (if you're planning to get there earlier in the day) because there's always a line to get in - especially on a Saturday. Get yourself seated at a table and order a beer. Then head out and jump in the to-go line while one of your friends stays at the table. Or just get to-go beer before you leave FFF.

If you're coming in on 80/94 I would recommend adding 18th Street Brewing to your trip. He's about 5 minutes north of where I-65 intersects with 80/94. He's brewing world class stuff.

Definately get there 45 minutes before they open, or try about 3ish..it can easily be an hour plus wait. They seating area is somewhat small, if you're in a group of over 4 I think they only have one or two tables able to accomodate such a size so that will impact wait time.

Regarding samples, I believe they have a sampler you can buy BUT I think that the beers are set; you can't pick and choose the ones you want..it's standardized with alpha king, robert the bruce, pride and joy and zombie (i think).

Another good place to check out that is just 15 minutes away is One Trick Pony in Lansing, IL. Definately worth stopping at.
