I'm there right now and decided to splurge on a BA Behemoth. Looks like there are quite a few left still. Limit 2 per person

That's good news. I've noticed if it's not a barrel aged stout, some of their barrel aged stuff sticks around for close to a week. Last year's BA Behemoth lasted a whole week I think. Barrel aged Alpha Kong pretty close too. The two Warpigs stouts and the BA Molokos were gone in a day.

I finally got ahold of my buddy near Munster. He's supposed to get it for me tomorrow. If not, I'm going to make the drive after I get my Dark Lord tickets. BA Behemoth is my favorite beer.

Drinking Rue D'floyd thinking this is what Founders intended Lizard of Koz to taste like.

Not disagreeing at all, but just pointing out that BA Behemoth came out early in the week last year as opposed to on a weekend. Hopefully it still lasts as long though

I think it lasts based on the price....$40 isn't in the wheelhouse for a barleywine.

Anybody have any info on how long BA Behemoth will last? Isn't it usually limit 1? I've been waiting for this for months and I'm out of town this weekend. I drove right past FFF yesterday and didn't see the post

They're doing limit 2 this year. They still had bottles as of an hour ago.

I'm about an hour away. Hopefully they hang on

4 hours in the car just to have the rug pulled out from under me would be brutal

I take back my early take on Rue D' Floyd (Rude Floyd?) , 48 hours after cracking it open, the remainder in the bottle has mellowed out and is much more enjoyable. Not getting a ton of bourbon, vanilla or cherry, but the in your face bite that was present upon opening (not sure if they hopped it, over carbed or what) tastes more like an RIS at this point.

Are threads for other breweries as funny as the Three Floyds ones?

No, none of them are, except maybe some Oregon ones.

    Most are uptight and defensive.

What's funny about this is Barrels used for Old Forester can also be used for Woodford Reserve. Old Forester is made by Brown Forman in Louisville. But the same barrels are blended with another Brown Forman Distillate made in Versailles to make Woodford Reserves flavor profile. So there's a good chance the barrels could be the same even though Woodford on the label is going to give a more premium vibe to it.

Had Rue on draft last Thursday. Thought it was amazing. I ordered it and the hazy IPA and let Rue warm up a bit. Absolutely delicious. Think I rated it like 4.65 or so.
