Three Floyds Releases

I get the supply and demand. They could raise the price and still sell out relatively quickly. Three Floyds has done an excellent job establishing their brand. The point is that there are many equal or better beers at half the price.

 

Actually, you are wrong, FFF BA beers are sitting around. Please see previous release on BA Alpha Klaus. That sat around far longer than a BA FFF release would normally. These used to sell out same day or two. When you only make a couple hundred beers in the BA run and you have the FFF name, people might be inclined to reach for a beer. The more people who have done this, the more who are saying "Did that, don't need to do it again." But there are still millions who haven't ticked it so that small 200+ bottle run will continue to sell out eventually because people want to believe it is worth the $40. If enough people have tried it like you are seeing on here saying it really isn't worth $40 maybe the message will get out..try it on draft for $10, don't waste $40 on it.

Cantillion isn't a good example. It's best in class and produces 10,000 of bottles tried by millions of people so word of mouth that it is worth that price is out there. Don't think you can say the same for BA Behemoth, especially when the vast majority is saying it isn't worth it...

 

When they did the 4 different BA Moloko recently in the same day, they were all gone within 6 hours. That's a little over 1,000 bottles at $40 a piece

I just saw that...debating whether to head there and get some or head to Four Fathers in Valpo to get some of their Samoa Delite

Just grabbed a few bottles, the wax is lime green with the same metallic specks that last years wax had.

Ran down tonight.....Behemoth is on point and they also have tekus at the kiosk if anyone is looking.

 

Man, those guys weren't kidding. When they order tekus, they have to place an order for something like 10k of those. I bought a couple a month ago for some friends. I wish they had the gold emblem though.

 

I do wish they had gold or silver foil on the tekus...especially for the price. But as they say it is what it is....
