Three floyds labels ABV with Collabs only. They live by a different creed that most breweries! And do it for a reason....
Fair enough, I asked why they had BA Robert the Bruce on tap once and the response was, Oh we just found a keg in the back. Somehow I doubt that.
Yeah, I asked why a collaboration with Amon Amarth and I got the incredibly boring "we do what we want" speech. I threw up in my mouth about halfway through. I was just wondering how they met Amon Amarth.
That's actually quite possible. If you're talking about BA Bobby Razz, they had it on tap 1-2 years ago, then once more recently. It wouldn't surprise me if they happened to misplace a sixtel like that.
At the brew pub they only serve a small pour of it (maybe 8oz?) so that usually is an indication that it's generally pretty high in ABV ie somewhere around the 9-12% range. You are most certainly welcome to toss a hygrometer into said rye da tiger at brew pub, use some algebraic calculations whilst getting hammered on delicious beer, and voila! You have the mystery ABV (provided you can use your brain while sloshed) IMO it's too much work. I just go to the brewpub to drink, eat, drink, drink, and carry out my allotment of Zombie Dust
