Calumet Queen was $5 because it was the worst beer they've ever made

Is this something new? New beers come out at $8 a bomber then increase to $10 after a week or so? I was there last night and the Admiral Lord Nelson was $8. I always remember bombers at the pub starting at $10 minimum. Also did they change the name of Admiral Lord Nelson this year? Or am I imagining things? I think that would be a pretty good idea for FFF. Few bucks discount the first week then normal price until sold out. Encourage people to follow them on twitter etc.

Why is Calumet Queen the worst beer they've ever made? Because it wasn't a huge hop bomb?

Hey I was wondering, does the Great Lakes forum like to talk about Three Floyds at all?

About half of the posters are actually talking about FFF. The other half are whiners with an entitlement complex posting their tales of woe about how they've been treated rudely by the staff because its "metal" (while completely ignoring the fact that their own attitude sucks) and bitching about FFF's prices while drinking a Zombie Dust and trying to work out trades for a Murda'd Out Stout or a BA Behemoth.

Anyhow, do you know of another brewery that has made the comeback that FFF has considering the brewery burned to the ground?

Well if you look at the ratings, most BA'ers agree. It just was dull. I know Kolsch style beers aren't "Hop Bombs" like you stated, but I just wasn't that impressed. It wasn't terrible overall, just not up to what I expect from FFF.

No it was always $10. Just posted wrong online. The special releases are usually $10.

    And yeah, Admiral's name changed.
