    Can't say I disagree.

FFF's has the hoppy pale ale thing nailed down.

FFF's brews are outstanding just wish they made more.

I agree with 90% of your argument...
BUUUT, calling 10.99 affordable for a bomber of a beer that needs to be drank within a month or two isn't a good argument, IMO. Do you want to pay $33 for a six pack of Dreadnaught? People blast Bell's for charging $17.99 for a six pack of Hopslam. I'm not comparing the two beers directly, just comparing the price of two beers that are the same style.

Had some fresh Alpha King this weekend, and it knocked my socks off.

Exactly what stuck out to me. Most FFF bombers near me are $12+ after tax. Not "super affordable" by any means.

Or $10 for a bottle of Pipeworks Ninja vs. Unicorn.

The whole bomber price inflation thing is pretty well documented, and no one can really defend it. Lagunitas has it right with ~$5/bomber for most of their stuff.

For reference, BCBS in 4-packs comes out to around $9-10/bomber. Just for reference.

And for me, paying $22-$24 per four pack of BCBS is a GREAT deal...We are on the same page my friend.

Almost as good as the $9 4-packs of New Glarus Wild Sour (after Woodman's case discount).

I think that's more the case of bombers just being over priced/ounce in general, not specifically to FFF. If I went to my local shop I'm sure that there are at least a dozen IPA/DIPAs in bombers that are either the same price or higher priced that are not as good as FFF beers. So comparatively, FFF bombers are a better value than other breweries bombers. If Hopslam was released in bombers, I guarantee you it would cost more than $5.49 which is the $ per ounce of beer conversion. It's not a question of brewery vs brewery, but bomber vs 6-pack and we all know the bombers are overpriced/ounce across all breweries (save a select few).

I haven't visited this site in a few months. I'm glad to see that we're still talking about whether or not Three Floyds is overhyped, it's like I never left.

I love how people are always saying FFF is over hyped.. I wish it was over hyped and people stop buying everything so I can get more

I don't. Jinx Proof was a ground out to me.

Ground outs can still get runs in. Foul tip into the glove I think.

But I completely agree with you. I've had five or six different FFF beers and only ZD really shone, and that was because they packed a lot of flavor into a sub 7% APA.

This is me as well. Good, maybe borderline great brewery. But I can think of 10 easily off the top of my head whose offerings top to bottom outshine FFF
