    Evening All,
I recently put up a trade thread involving this beer looking for a Matt. I don't see this beer on the forums much, so was looking for some feedback. Anyone traded this, or for this, recently? Is this ISO unreasonable? Any info regarding the beer, trading, etc, is appreciated.
    Cheers,
    B

Thanks bud, this is helpful. This bottle is definitely not waxed. Anyone else have any info they could share?

A few thoughts (more a commentary on your ISO than your FT):

    1. I've had Matt once (at the HotD brewpub), and I have one bottle in my cellar (from a very generous trading partner). At this moment, I can't think of anything I would trade my one bottle for. Matt was nearly perfect for me.

    2. Most brewery only releases from HotD tend to stay close to home, so finding someone in the Midwest might be extremely tough. You might have better luck flying to Portland to make this trade. Then again, if you flew to Portland, you could get a bottle of Matt at the brewpub for $18.

    3. Given that both beers seem pretty hard to get, I think the $4$ is a little off. I think Matt 2010 was like $12 a bottle, versus $12 / 4pk for the Three Guys (per that other thread).

    4. Wants/Gots lean heavily in favor of Matt.

    5. The ratings for Matt are significant better (both on BA and RB) that Three Guys. Based on nothing other than the ratings on the two sites, most people probably wouldn't trade Matt for the Three Guys.

    6. Given the popularity of Matt, I suspect (although I have no inside knowledge) that HotD will be releasing another batch of Matt at some point. Might be easier to wait for another release.

    My 2ȼ.

It was actually more like $1.67.

seems quite reasonable. I really had no information on cost before I posted and everything you stated makes sense. Glad I have a bit more information on this as I don't think I had ever come across this beer in the forums. Thanks for your response.
