Someone from Threes reached out to me because I had a randomly full cart thanks to that in-depth cost per case analysis we had in the Suarez thread. I ended up ordering a mixed case of lagers (plus a 4 pack of ACE but I won't talk about that here), so I guess just ignore everything I said in that post.

I recently got a mixed case of lagers. All are very good to outstanding (Volition & Kicking and Screaming ). Ordered on a Thursday night and had it by Saturday.

Beer mail is best mail! You guys have been talking up Undone and Kicking & Screaming, so I gave into the FOMO.

Thought the purchase was prompted by that “in-depth cost per case analysis,” and a Threes ****ling to finish the cart

    …it’s a solid purchase

Undone is gone now, but I ordered and picked it up three times. Threes Huntington being 15 minutes from my job is what the kids call a problem, but in the best way possible for this pureboi.

Hah it was certainly a little bit of both. I wouldn't have placed the order if Threes hadn't reached out, and I wouldn't have wanted to try the beer that badly if folks in this thread, the Suarez thread, and the NYC lagers thread hadn't talked up Threes so much.

Working my way through my February threes box. Undone is great, as expected. The head on that thing is a beauty. Perfect touch of sweetness to tie it all together.

Volition - now this is the beer I would want to session the F out of on a cold winter day being forced to sit outside at a roadside/backyard/patio taproom. Seems oh so fitting for that setting. A winter session beer. But of course, applicable to any time of year.

other ephemera is awesome. I’m getting a little less of a NZ hop twang than I had hoped for, but it’s still a lager of the highest quality. Has some nice nuance flavors that I’d describe as grape must and cereal.

The View from Nowhere IPA. I love threes hops. They are right in my wheelhouse. I thing they are generally underrated. This one is no exception. Definitely one you can let warm and see how the aroma and flower develops. For me it’s a creamy mango and strawberry smoothie.

Barrel agree bad faith. Such a pleasure to sip. Drank it over 1.5 hours watching a movie. It was perfect. Floral and minerals up in there. Not really tart, which I want expecting. I was expecting it to be a white wine barrel bomb based on their description, but it was much more integrated into the flavor and balanced perfectly.

false witness. Super clean for a mixed culture beer if that can be a thing. Nice to have a stainless aged beer which I think contributed to that factor. Very much what you’d expect from threes. Has a lot of fun flavors and aromas to pick out but doesn’t stray too far off into any one direction.

I made the 15 minute walk over to Threes to pick up a four pack of Good Trouble DIPA (dedicated to John Lewis), a four pack of the new collab with Resident Culture - Verisimilitude ( can conditioned Kellerbier) and a four pack of the Grimm Chronos.

I get pretty sweaty walking back with more than three four packs, so that’s my limit.

I had the Good Trouble during the summer and really remember loving it. Excited about the Kellerbier and the GRimm Chronos too.

I hope people are enrolled in the rewards program at Threes. Those points add up pretty quickly!

Lol yep. I picked up 5 4-packs from the Huntington location (that place is waaaay too close to my job) and got $5 off. Third time now I’ve gotten money back. The Kellerbier is fantastic.

I just had one a bit ago and it is fantastic! I feel like so many of their lagers are just so good, this one is right up there with them.

If I could get my damn car out from the mountain of snow it’s still under, I might drive and buy more that 3 four packs, but we are still buried in.

Back when I used to go to the city for work during the before times, I used to go to OH pretty often during my lunch break. I learned carrying back 3 4 packs always made me start to sweat by the time I got back to the office no matter how hot or cold the weather is.

This is good. I'm getting dark cocoa and caramel. It drinks really light and clean.

Ha, I’ve done the same thing with Other Half, but it’s worse b/c it’s like 25 minute walk back home instead of the 15 minute walk. Always fine on the way there, but on the way back those four packs can make you sweat.

Today, I had on a t-shirt and a Patagonia micro puff. Returned home soaking in sweat and it was 28 degrees.

The resident culture collab is fantastic. It's must pickup if you dig kellerbiers
