I echo everything about Three's. Picked up my cans at 7:05, enjoyed a can of Day of the Dead and a pint of There You Are. Great experience.

    Anyone try Chronic Myopia yet?

Cost of doing business in the big city unfortunately. Tolls are insanely expensive, prices keep going up. At least with EZ pass it is cheaper. Tolls were originally a way to pay for bridges, the bridges have probably been paid off 1000000 times over. Now they are just cash cows.

There's no way around the Hudson tolls, but I recommend taking the Brooklyn or Manhattan Bridge (free) instead of the Battery Tunnel (which hits you up each way). That said, I almost always take mass transit. If I can't carry it back, then I'm over buying.

Would it be cheaper to drive to Kane/Carton or other NJ breweries? That's what I'd do.

Yep, had one last night. A bit less of a tropical fruit bomb that DotD was, but a clean, beautifully hopped IPA. Not a lot to not like about that beer.

As a new yorker, whats the best way to get to kane? I'm gonna take the ferry out to Carton, but driving seems like the easiest to Kane.

Driving is the easiest way to Kane. There isn't much mass transportation to that area. Maybe ferry to Carton and uber to Kane? Kane is well worth getting to.

Uber won't be cheap - try to organize a carpool. Say flights are on you or something?

I've made the train to bus and It isn't a short trip, but it's pretty smooth, even on weekends. There's a bus stop right there at Kane.

I had a can last night and really liked it. It's tropical and dank and the finish is cleaner than DOTD. I really liked DOTD upfront and through mid pallete. The only nit pick thing i had with DOTD is a slightly undesirable malty finish. Hard to pinpoint but reminds me of cooked corn. It's also surprising because just about everything else I had on tap at Threes is beautiful smooth hoppy ales (leaning towards sessionable). IMHO they make a better version of Tired Hands Hophands.

Really enjoyed Chronic Myopia last night. Nice tropical fruit with some subtle malt character to back it up. It's not the hazy New England juice bomb of DoTD but it's a damn good IPA. Also, totally blanked on asking what was next when I was there. Hope we find out soon.

I know there have been only a couple of releases, but does anyone know what sort of canning schedule Threes intends to keep? Bi-weekly or so? I have a friend in Brooklyn who is visiting me the second weekend of July and offered to bring some cans down, so I'm hoping there's at least one more release between now and then.

Pro tip: don't show up at five and then lose track of time at the bar and completely miss the can window. That was moderately embarrassing!
