We agree with your take that you are absolutely entitled to this beer. You paid for it, it's yours.

We are also terribly sorry that we screwed up your plans - that was obviously not the idea. We identified this chiller failure last night and have been working tirelessly for the last 30 hours to try to sort it out. We had to determine whether we could safely move the beer to the packaging tank. Since we are working with a 3rd party mobile canning partner, we had to make the call and determined it was a no go. On the bright side, we caught the issue early enough and were able to shut down the glycol loop so the beer did not get affected.

To be clear though, whether we pre-sold these online or not, we would have had to reschedule the release. We understand that this may mess up some people's weekends - with that in mind, we wanted to make sure we offered a full refund for anyone that can't make it next week. If folks still want the beer but can't attend any of the slotted times, we can also be a bit more lenient with off-peak pickups, considering the circumstances. If you fall into that category, just email us through our website.

If anyone has any ideas on how we can handle situations like this to better address your needs in the future, we're listening. Regardless, we truly do appreciate all the patience.

 

The fact that you guys are so receptive to feedback and post here puts you in the top tier of breweries for me anyway. PS - gonna miss that Mexican place when it leaves the kitchen, it's awesome!

I didn't get an email either. Was going to bike down to Three's today from Queens, glad I checked the forums.

The email went out to every address that was submitted with each purchase, however, we can see in our email software that a handful remain unopened - we just pushed to those people again. As an FYI, if you use Gmail, this may have wound up in your "Promotions" folder.

Alright, I've placed my order for the next batch of cans- can't wait to try that Constant Disappointment. I like knowing all these great beers are coming to me soon...gives me the confidence to go ahead and drink up the cans in the fridge!

 

Had no idea there was a second round already. We haven't even gotten the first round yet!

 

This is the 4th round. Day of the Dead and Vliet followed by Chronic Myopia.

 

Sorry, I meant the second round of ordering online. And haven't been able to pick up the first round til Friday. Should have been clearer.

 

Anyone tried these beers before? Hard to glean a whole lot from three adjectives each in the descriptions haha.

Fair to say CD is the more like what we got from Day of the Dead, while IHM heads in a Chronic Myopia sorta direction?

 

@ThreesBrewing - I don't care about any of the slight drawbacks of pre-ordering beer. Nothing trumps the guarantee of leaving with beer before you commit to traveling to the brewery. Keep up the good work, we do not mind a few growing pains.

 

Hoping a bit of the opposite haha.

Also, would love to see Three's start canning/bottling more of their lower ABV stuff.

 

Wondering if Constant Dissapointment and I hate myself will be on tap during the next pickup window. I'd like to try them but with all these releases, money's tight. I picked the wrong hobby.

 

I was hoping it could be picked up the same time as the one this weekend since it was delayed so I could save myself the $30 in tolls for another trip but no such luck.

 

That would be amazing. I've yet to be disappointed in anything from threes, but I've liked some better than others. Had I tried DOTD before ordering I'd have picked up the max.

 

Im just here to reiterate how fantastic these can releases are!

 

And how incredible their draft list is right now if you like hoppy beer.
