How many pizzas do I have to eat to convince them to keep Roberta's in the kitchen permanently?

I'm looking forward to Mile's End being there at the end of the month.

    I second this motion!

Not going to lie - I wasn't in love with the Meathook food I had there (ribs, steak and burger) - decent, but nothing to write home about

Anyone have any information on the growler fills? I am stopping by tomorrow night, and was curious if you have to buy their glass. I have so many growlers, swing top and screw top, that I don't want to keep buying more.

Miles End is going to be at Threes ? That is awesome. I had a chopped brisket sandwich from Delaneys there a few weeks ago. They have some tasty beers of their own, nice guest taps & these stints from area restaurants are a nice touch.

Like Mr. ohyeah above, I'm wondering if you'll fill my standard 64-oz. brown screw-top growler. I'll be in the neighborhood Sunday and was hoping to stop by.

    Cheers!

@gory4d, right now, we're still putting the finishing touches on our counter-pressure system (which is going to be pretty badass, btw). Our glass will be flip-top, though for the time being, we'll fill any growler you bring, provided that it's clean. We hope to continue that practice for the longhaul, though it will depend on how things play out practically.

@ohyeahitsmuff, not sure if you made it to the space already, but wanted to make sure you saw this as well. If you ever have a time sensitive question, feel free to email us - info at threesbrewing dot com for a faster reply. We try to check these boards frequently, but are still a lean team, so most of our time is still dedicated to making beer, getting the space up & running, etc.

Thanks for your interest in our liquid, guys!

Thanks! I made it out Sunday in the early evening and got a couple of growlers and chatted with the guy who filled them. My daughter was a little bored, but interested in the espresso machine. In any case, great beer - I got the Table Beer and the Wandering Bine, both really nice takes on the style. Cheers!

Edit: Also, are you going to distribute around town at all? I know you're brand new, but am curious as to your plans. The beer is great, but it's a long way from 110th St. down to Gowanus. Thanks!

@gory4d First off, thanks for the kind words. Glad you liked the spot and the brews. We've still got a bunch of improvements to make, but we're chipping away every day.

As for distribution, we just put our first liquid off campus to a few of our favorite places, mostly in Brooklyn and lower Manhattan. The list includes Spring Lounge, 4th Avenue Pub, Pony Bar, Torst, Owl Farm, Brouwerij Lane, Double Windsor, Jimmys 43, Covenhoven & The Good Fork. There are more on the way in the coming weeks, though nothing imminent way uptown - that's more of a logistical issue at this point (we're a small team and only have so many hours for deliveries). Still, if people like our beer, it's our plan to be all over the boroughs as fast as we can!

I'll tell the guys at the Dive Bars that they should drive down to Brooklyn and get some. Cheers!

having been a few times for Roberta's pizza now, it seems to me that it'd be way more efficient and less confusing if you just ordered food at the kitchen window when you first come in, and were given some kind of buzzer or something to let you know when your order is up and for you to go get it yourself.

With having to order food from the bartender it just complicates things, then the food runners seem to run all over the entire bar trying to find out where to deliver it. I imagine when the warm weather returns it'd be even more difficult if you want to eat in the backyard...

@joehill thank you for the feedback.

We designed the kitchen with that intent in mind, but have been going through the ebb & flow a little differently with each food partner. From a service perspective, there are pros and cons to each model and we're still figuring out which is most suitable for our place.

Regardless of where we land, we truly appreciate the feedback. Keep it coming, we're listening!

Unrelated to the kitchen--I'm guessing your beermenu isn't updated? Or is Anna still on?

    @ThreesBrewing
Questions on beermenus list. Are all beers (Three's) available in any size growler? Will you eventually have a list on beermenus of growler selections?
