Threes Brewing in Brooklyn?

You can go anytime the shop is open and grab cans. I dont think they have ever sold everything through the presale.
Just follow this Instagram account to keep up with what they have. Its updated daily. You can go today and pick up 4 different Threes cans.

 

I usually Pre-Order to be safe, but notice a lot of there beer is available at The Shop at Threes. If you follow them on Instagram you will see what's in the fridge daily.

 

SFY will definitely sell out of Pre-Orders, haven't had Constant disappointment but would expect the same.

 

Fairly positive it's always been dry-hopped at least. addition of powder might mean a second dry hopping.

Previous description was just:

SFY, Imperial Pale Ale
Tropical, Assertive, Lush, Oily, Candied Tangerines.
9% ABV // 16oz

 

Did either of these sell out the first time during preorders? I honestly cant remember, its been so long.

 

No, I'm fairly certain it didn't. I remember buying a 4 pack at the bar before the bottle shop opened. Although, that could have been the first release.

 

Each time I did a pre-sale on SFY it sold out. The last go around I wanted to add another 4pack of SFY to my original order and it was SOLD OUT>

 

The Pre-Sale allotment of SFY was sold out. But they seem to hold some back to be sold at the shop

 

Oh right - I kind of assumed the pre-order always sells out automatically when it gets closer to the "release" date since I pretty much always see them for sale at the bar after those dates.

 

Pre-Sale is better if your buying multiple 4 packs IMO. I just like knowing my beer is waiting for me to pickup, like they printed my name on the cans

 

Anyone know if theyll have other burial cans/drafts tonight or is it just the collab?

 

Any word if this batch of SFY is different? It could just be the power of double dry hop suggestion, but I'm enjoying these cans more than I did the first or second go around.

 

Fuck completely forgot to pick my SFY cans up this weekend. I'm going to the Isles game tonight I will swing by Threes when they open and hopefully can pick them up.

 

I know that in the pre-sale order if they weren't picked up you would be refunded your purchase price. If you check out theshopatthrees SFY and Constant appointment are there. So I'm sure you will good in scoring cans.

 

Do they still keep cans to go at the bar? Was thinking of swinging by after work to grab some Constant Disappointment but I won't make it in time to grab them at the shop.

Quick question for you Threes regulars...

Are the pre-order can sales conducted every week? Just trying to prepare in advance for an upcoming NYC trip. Thanks in advance!

 

No, I honestly havent noticed any pattern to their can releases. They do seem to be canning more in 2017, they just sent an email today for presales so this is the 3rd one this year. In 2016 they were long stretches without cans.

 

Even if not, they have a cooler in which they sell their own cans and those from other breweries. Plus they have a great tap list that includes their own and other breweries' beer too.

 

@NJNYC732 @CityofWind_brew we can pretty much every other week. All styles are available pre-sale until further notice, with the exception of Vliet Pils. We've started doing bigger batches of that one, with the intent of ensuring that it's always available here at the brewery.
