Drank an evil twin can last Sunday and it tasted great but today's can is a malty mess. Anyone had one recently?

I agree that treehouse and trillium brew some of the best ipa's around but Kane's barrel aged program is easily better than both of them. It's a give and take. Most of us on here trade so we get to enjoy both or we can make a road trip. I've done Th/Trillium day trips a few times and it's well worth it but I'm very happy with my local options. I'd go to NYC breweries like Three's and OH more often if it didn't cost $50 in gas and tolls. :grinning:

I think you meant to say Neither Way, the burial collab. I haven't had too many hoppy pale lagers, but this is really good. I got some cans to go on Saturday night. I'm not sure if people went for this because it says lager, but it has many of the same hoppy notes you'd want. I'd love to see more beers like this made.

Agreed, I think Neither Way might be my favorite NYC release so far this year, beer is incredible.

FYI, bottles of 3F Oude Gueze (green label) available in the shop today (as of 1430 or so), but they're $40 for a 750 mL bottle.

We don't mention or talk about Troon in other threads. C'mon, man! Please don't let the Tree House nerds find out I prefered Funny Bone or Obligate Scavenger to every Tree House beer I've ever had :x

Is it hard to find parking around this brewery? Only been here with an Uber.

Usually not, but that's just my perception as I've never driven. West towards 3rd/Nevins and you'll have better luck.

Temporary Identity is nice – legit Hawaiian Punch notes, crisp lager-like finish.

Visiting NYC next month for the first time. I'm staying in Brooklyn and have Threes and OH on the list of places to visit. If you were to pick two places in Brooklyn for good craft beer would these two be good?

Those would be the goto's although Three's sometimes is light on the friends' tap section. So you might just get OH/Three's beers if you stuck to those two. You might want to check out other beer bars for a wider selection. Depending on where your staying in BK there shouldn't be one too far from your location.

We're staying in Greenpoint. Looks like Torst may be a good choice?

Tørst will definitely have a killer tap list, albeit pricey.

I would also recommend Keg & Lantern. A brewpub that is a couple blocks from Tørst. Much more laid back American bar vibe with some really good beers.
