Checking in to advise y'all to run, not walk, and scoop up a 4-pack of this Threes Peer Review. Shit is derricious.

Nice! Saw the announcement and was curious... No classic "mango burn," I assume?

There's a bit of citrus bite, but I'd wager that this beer will be so damn quaffable in a week.

Edit: I've moved on to a DDH ACE. I feel like it's blasphemy as I type this, but, I definitely prefer Peer Review.

drinking a counterpart can right now and this is the best pale ale in nyc. lemony, citrusy and so easy to drink at 4.5%.

Their low ABV pale ales and IPAs are heavily underrated.

It’s been a while since I checked out threes but greenwood park had Unintentional Fallacy on tap a few months ago and had to try their take on an all citra DIPA. I was thoroughly impressed. Saw they canned it recently so I just went to grab a 4. It’s a tad fruitier than I remember it being on tap and not sure if that’s a good thing or not. I can say though that it’s one of the more enjoyable cans of Threes that I’ve brought home.

    When they're on, they're on.

Day of the Dead is still one of my top 5 NYC IPAs ever.

Great can jam today. Supply of a lot of cans has lasted throughout the day. Good chance to try places I’ve never heard of.

Shit, wish I paid more attention before taking the train out here. It's already over.

I really enjoyed the apri guav tastee from the veil and the blurb sherbet from homes brewery (in ann arbor, mi).

The fruit flavor can be overwhelming, but those heavily fruited goses and kettle sours are good and not really made around here. I do prefer the more balanced fruited sours from Grimm, but these were fun to try.

Despite them being local I still went to some of the new Hudson valley beers I haven’t had later in the day. Tough to really rank what I had, but these were probably the best I had.

I also had a few from Alvarado St. They were good, but pretty similar to what's made around here.

I can echo what prettygood said about HVB and Alvarado St, but a really cool, and different, beer was Yes, Yes Y'all from Fonta Flora, IPA with Tumeric and Black Pepper. Weird, but really good.

Has anyone caught a World Cup game here? If so, how's that been? Wondering if this is the place to be for Monday's Brazil-Mexico game. Also, do they open early for the early games?

I've been to a few there. It's a good setup, both in the bar and upstairs - the sound is on in both. Definitely worth checking out, the beers are underrated (at least on this forum). The meat hook's specialty sausages are tasty, too (at least the Portuguese one).
